It's the number one stunner...

"To say that the editors have done an extremely good job is a little like saying the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel does a good job of keeping the rain off the Pope's head. It is true but it doesn't give even a whiff of the grandeur of the thing."—Robert D. Richardson, author of Emerson: The Mind on Fire

Unfortunately this is back-ordered everywhere. Why didn't the publishers know that Mark Twain's autobiography, released 100 years after his death by his request, would be insanely in demand? Of course it's the number one bestseller (this restores some of my faith in America)! I'm not sure if anyone can get one before Christmas...maybe if you pay for the quickest shipping. Mine ships on the 22nd but I don't have to have it to give until New Year's day.

A fabulous gift, if you can get your hands on one...and there will be two more volumes coming out later.
