Comfort first

It's bundle-up, cozy-up and curl-up weather. Right now I'm wearing a guy's (no particular guy, just made for a guy) white undershirt, loose gray linen Banana Republic pants, thick socks, and a much thicker robe from Restoration Hardware. Could I be more comfy? It's doubtful.

Even if it isn't freezing inside, something about winter draws me to soft, easy, sometimes drapey fabrics. Forget anything that needs to be tugged and pulled. No thanks, button-up anything. I plan on sitting Indian-style all winter in my most comfortable clothes. How about you?

And how do we feel about the high-waist pant trend, like pictured in the gray sweats above? I'm resisting hard. Someone please buy that lavender dress. It's easy and season-less and lovely. It has a racer-back.
